PURPOSE
The
MINI-GRANTS FOR TEACHERS program provides an opportunity
to provide enriching academic experiences for students as
well as recognize and reward outstanding teachers in the
South Plains region. It supports innovative approaches and
creative ideas by funding academic projects not supported
by school budgets.
This
program is not intended to supplant other funding sources.
Its purpose is to support teachers who have ideas for enriching
the curriculum or providing students with additional learning
experiences. The program will enable the purchase of special
materials or resources for the classroom, which are not
allocated in school budgets.
